Le numéro de juillet de Wargames Illustrated est paru depuis quelques jours déjà. Il s’agit du deuxième numéro depuis la reprise du journal par Battlefront et cela se ressent grandement sur le journal. Le nombre de pages a sérieusement augmenté pour arriver à 116 pages par numéro (mais cette revue anglaise comporte quand même beaucoup plus de pub qu’un Vae Victis par exemple), mais le plus frappant est la maquette qui en a aussi profité pour prendre un sérieux coup de jeune. On peut y sentir l’empreinte de l’équipe graphique de Battlefront car on y retrouve une bonne partie des codes utilisé dans les livre de BF. La reprise de ce journal aurait pu faire craindre un changement à la “White Dwarf” avec une focus abusivement centré sur Flames of War, mais après un deuxième numéro ce n’est pas le cas. Le numéro 261 contenant même moins de contenu lié à la Seconde Guerre mondiale que le précédent. On trouvera quand même dans ce dernier numéro une nouvelle liste d’armée FOW pour le 654 Schwere Panzerjäger Abteilung. Par contre celle-ci n’étant pas sur le site web on peut se demander quel sera son statut. Voilà de quoi donner quelques maux de tête aux organisateurs de tournoi FOW si la pratique perdure. Pour le reste, c’est un grand classique qui parcours toute les périodes de l’histoire et qui se lit toujours avec interêt! Le sommaire de ce mois.
